The soothing effect that candles or diffusers have are based on how the brain processes smells. The smell of scented candles stimulates our limbic system, the part of the brain that is home to our memory and emotions. Hormones like serotonin and dopamine can be produced to help regulate mood.
This is why it is equally important to create a room that is filled with a beautiful scent that elevates your mood both consciously and subconsciously.

I’ve been in your shoes before trying out a host of different brands. As I’ve understood more about scent and ambience, I started to explore unique scent combinations to really bring out the best of my room. That’s when I came across EKA.

They’re bespoke scented candles are lovingly made in the UK, from 100% natural soy wax with a blend of carefully selected essential oils. I love that the soy wax burns cleanly, with no toxins or carcinogens – plus, if you spill a little it’s much easier to clean up than paraffin wax. The wick is made from natural cotton, too.
What’s not to love! To tie it all in I added the Agate Stone Coasters to my decor and I just love the total combination. I even selected a bespoke message on my candles to make them personalised to me. Check out the video below and let me know what’s your favourite!
